Dave Matthews to Star in New Film

Dave Matthews will star in another film!  Matthews is set to star in feature film, Angels, script written by and directorial debut of actress and children’s book author Meg Tilly.  Tilly made her indelible debut in 1982 in The Big Chill and is the sister of actress Jennifer Tilly.

Dave will reportedly play a man with medical and financial problems struggling to get a liver transplant for his two-year old daughter. Matthews’ business partner and manager Jonathan Dorfman is listed as an executive producer.  Filming is scheduled to begin in March in either upstate New York or Kentucky.

The Dave Matthews Band frontman’s acting chops are well-established, as Matthews has appeared in such films as Because of Winn-Dixie, Lake City and  Adam Sandler films You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and Just Go With It.
