The Americans being picked up for Season 3

The AmericansThe Americans will be getting a formal third season renewal on FX soon.  At the FX Networks’ annual Upfront presentation, CEO John Landgraf noted that while live numbers have slipped, the show’s DVR viewership is “unlike anything I have ever seen. Live viewing is essentially just 20 percent of the whole.”  Luckily for us, the new Homeland, will bring the Cold War spy suspense back to our TVs for Season 3.
