Seth Macfarlane's Blunt Talk coming to Starz

Starz ordered up two 20-episode seasons of a live-action comedy from Seth MacFarlane and writer Jonathan Ames to star Patrick Stewart.

Blunt Talk will be produced by Media Rights Capital and set to premiere next year.  Stewart will play a British newscaster, Walter Blunt, who comes to America to conquer cable news.

David Arquette and Christina McLarty welcomed son Charlie West on Monday, April 28 at 12:35 p.m. in Los Angeles.  Charlie weighed in at 8 lbs., 7 oz. and joins big sister Coco (Arquette’s daughter with actress Courtney Cox).

It is official, the 1993 hit movie Mrs. Doubtfire which starred Robin Williams will be back with Elf screenwriter David Berenbaum writing up new antics for the San Francisco father, Daniel Hillard (Williams), who turned drag to spend quality time with his kids as he underwent a divorce from his ex-wife (Sally Field).  Though contracts are not signed, both Robbins and director Chris Columbus are attached to the sequel project.

Following the Blenheim War Memorial, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge attended a state reception held at Government House  in Wellington, New Zealand where the Duke unveiled a portrait of the Queen.

Catherine opted for a custom LBD from one of her favorite British designers, Jenny Packham.  The fitted, knee-length, long sleeved and modified bateau neckline swing skirt dress was accented with an exquisitely embroidered left shoulder with a glittering fern to represent New Zealand’s national emblem.

While she opted to wear her hair down following a rare ponytail earlier in the day, she completed the look with her diamond bracelet, trusty black suede platform Jimmy Choo Cosmic heels ($695) and a black clutch.

Jennifer Garner looked absolutely stunning when she walked the red carpet at the Draft Day premiere at Regency Bruin Theatre in LA  Monday night.

The 41-year-old mom-of-three actress wore a custom Max Mara sleek and stylish black jumpsuit with a cinched-in waist, black leather belt, deep V neckline and flared pants

The elegant, figure-skimming piece with retro appeal was styled with black peep-toe shoes, a beautiful Melissa Kaye Jewelry Hazel necklace, Graziela Gems and EF Collection rings, plus a rose-gold Roger Vivier Boîte de Nuit clutch.

She kept her look effortless with long glossy chestnut tresses in loose waves, her flawless complexion framed by a wispy fringe.

The Americans being picked up for Season 3

The Americans will be getting a formal third season renewal on FX soon.  At the FX Networks’ annual Upfront presentation, CEO John Landgraf noted that while live numbers have slipped, the show’s DVR viewership is “unlike anything I have ever seen. Live viewing is essentially just 20 percent of the whole.”  Luckily for us, the new Homeland, will bring the Cold War spy suspense back to our TVs for Season 3.

Production on the eight-episode series begins in, of course, New Jersey this week.
